Co-Op at Reach Every Voice

The Co-Op at Reach Every Voice is an in-person, small-group learning program for middle school–aged students and older, designed to support communication, collaboration, and meaningful participation in a highly individualized setting.
With an intentionally low student-to-staff ratio, Co-Op provides a structured environment where students learn alongside peers while receiving direct support for communication access and inclusive participation.

Program Overview
Co-Op offers a collaborative, communication-centered learning experience focused on shared activities, discussion, and problem-solving.
Instruction is:
-
Inclusive and responsive
-
Designed to support authentic participation
-
Grounded in collaboration rather than performance
-
Supportive of AAC and diverse communication styles
Group size is capped at 4 students, allowing staff to provide individualized support while facilitating peer interaction and shared learning.
"This Co-Op has given me a purpose during the week. I have been given the opportunity to work with more CPs. I love learning new topics of interest." - Nick

The Communication Partner & Coaching Model
Students attend with a communication partner who actively participates alongside them.
Unlike REV's Summer Institute, Co-Op intentionally includes coaching and support for communication partners, made possible by the program's low group size.
This model allows staff to:
-
Coach communication partners in real time
-
Facilitate inclusive, peer-based discussions
-
Scaffold access to activities and discussion
-
Support meaningful interaction across all communication styles, including AAC
Communication partners are supported throughout the program — coaching is embedded naturally within sessions. CPs do not need to be fully trained prior to participation.
If a family requires assistance securing a communication partner, we encourage them to reach out early. While we do our best to help when possible, staff availability is not guaranteed, and additional support staff would be billed separately.
